Research

I am a research intern at Studio for Narrative Spaces. I am working on:** A virtual reality experience that make intangible cultural heritage more engaging and accessible to younger generations.
** A mixed reality experience that explore people's past, present and future imagination about Hong Kong.
** A user study to understand how people interact with and perceive LLM-powered application.
My work is currently under review with CHI and DIS.

Projects

Some of my recent works:

Rebuilding the Broken

Fall 2024 · Digital Fabrication

A deliberately designed broken bowl challenges the perception of 3D printing as a means to create complete, predictable outcomes. It reimagines imperfections as elements of beauty, echoing the Kintsugi philosophy: a piece is more beautiful for having been broken.

AUDIO SP4CE

Spring 2024 · VR Experience

Developed an experimental VR experience combining audio-reactive and generative art to foster relaxation, creativity, and inspiration. Starting as a 2D interactive audio-visual project, it evolved into a dynamic 3D model where noise fields responded to audio input and user interaction. The final VR environment offered an immersive space blending technology and art.

If You Escape

Spring 2024 · 3D Game

Collaborated with Claire Zhao to create a 3D Unity game centered on a ghost uncovering the mystery of their own death. Combining creative storytelling with interactive gameplay, the project challenges players to think beyond traditional narratives, reliving the experience to discover a hidden meta-narrative.

emocean

Fall 2023 · Interactive Website

A conceptual technology that listens to your unpleasant feelings, thoughts, and concerns, offering a way to offload mental burdens without relying on friends or family. This project explores the intersection of communication, technology, and machine learning to address the challenges of poor-quality communication and create a space for emotional relief.
